One glance at the quality and splendour of this luxurous course and it becomes obvious that no expense was spared in the creation of this Parkland paradise. Druid’s Glen hosted the Irish Open from 1996 to 1999 and became a firm favourite of Colin Montgomerie due to his successes here. Notable holes include the difficult 13th from its elevated tee, the island green of the 17th and the scenic 18th with the three small cascading lakes overlooked by the beautiful clubhouse. Druid’s Glen is deservedly regarded as the premier golfing venue in Ireland.
A History of Great Play
Druids Glen Golf Club is renowned for hosting the Murphy’s Irish Open on four occasions between 1996 and 1999. The club has also welcomed the prestigious Seve Trophy and has served as a venue for the Irish PGA Championship.
