A History of Great Play
The club has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Senior British Open Championship, The Amateur Championship, the British Ladies Amateur Championship, the Curtis Cup, the Walker Cup, and the Palmer Cup. It has also staged the Irish Open on multiple occasions, most recently in 2024, along with the European Ladies’ Team Championship.
