A History of Great Play
Royal Portrush Golf Club is renowned for hosting The Open Championship, most recently in 2025. It has also staged the Irish Open, the Irish PGA Championship, and several major amateur events. Notably, it remains one of the few courses outside Great Britain to host The Open.
