The most famous stretch of golfing ground in the world, St. Andrews Links proudly carries the title of the Home of Golf. The Old Course is characterised by its wide fairways and vast greens which may seem forgiving, but disguise a unique test of golf.

A History of Great Play

The Old Course at St Andrews is renowned for hosting The Open Championship, the oldest of golf’s major tournaments. Since 1873, it has staged the event 30 times, more than any other course, and is set to host The Open again in 2027, marking its 31st time as a championship venue.
